| SAINT SISTAS collection 2011 features rich colors , bold prints and fabulous new textures.
SAINT SISTAS is the first Beachwear brand to use salmon skin for their products. The fish leather used is washable (bikinis, Rootsy Hobo) or waterproof (bags) The salmon skin patchwork is a brand new technic, the skins retain their irregular natural form, and are sewn together in an alternating pattern. The fish leather is from salmon caught for food. For this reason, this materials is a by-product reclaimed from food processing activities, as the animals are not raised with the express purpose of using their hides. The two sisters stand for impeccable quality and environmentally friendly material. Our terry cloth bears the organic textile label ÖKO-tex. The fish leather is tanned and colored with only geothermal hot water, which is an efficient, environmentally-friendly and renewable resource. All the fabrics and accessories used in the production of Saint Sistas products are made in the European Union. |
